Toshiba Sake Ceremony 2008
The Client.
While this client’s Japanese roots hardly need an explanation, few realize that in North America, their past is still a vital component to their corporate identity.
The Goal.
Toshiba remembers where it came from and it was GO West’s responsibility, on top of producing a three-day conference, to continue the sacred ritual of the Sake Ceremony.
The Result.
By projecting our custom animated media on a 40-foot water wall and interspersing Tyco drummers in the middle of our production, GO West managed to make Navy Pier in Chicago feel more like Shogun’s Temple. The fact that we won “Best Video at an Event” at the 2009 Chicago Biz Bash Style Awards was indeed a sweet Sake chaser.
